“Return of the Racing Dial.”
Before it went to the moon, the Speedmaster was designed for the racetrack. The Speedmaster Racing White Dial brings that legacy back into focus. It features the distinctive alternating minute track—a style that first appeared on a 1968 Speedmaster model to help drivers read lap times more easily. Today, it stands as a sharper, sportier alternative to the classic Moonwatch.
Design & Craftsmanship
The Racing Track:
The defining feature is the “racing” minute track that encircles the dial in a checkered flag pattern. On this white dial version, the black markers create a high-contrast look that is instantly legible. The blackened arrowhead indexes filled with white Super-LumiNova add to the monochrome, technical aesthetic.
Ceramic & Liquidmetal™:
The bezel ring is crafted from polished black ceramic. The tachymeter wording is filled with Liquidmetal™, a proprietary alloy that bonds seamlessly with the ceramic, ensuring the scale remains silver and shiny forever without fading or scratching.
Refined Case Profile:
At 44.25mm, it is larger than the Moonwatch, but thanks to a slimmer sapphire crystal caseback, it sits lower on the wrist than previous automatic models. The case features the classic twisted lugs, polished and brushed to perfection.

On The Wrist
The white dial gives this watch a fresh, modern presence that feels very different from the traditional black Speedmasters. It is sporty, legible, and robust. The 44.25mm size demands a confident wrist, but the short lugs ensure it doesn’t overhang. It’s the perfect choice for the driver who appreciates mechanical precision.
