“Suspended in Mid-Air.”
The Carbon TPT Polo Tourbillon is a fortress for the wrist. Born from the need to protect a delicate tourbillon mechanism from the mallets and collisions of professional polo, it introduces a completely new architecture. The movement does not sit on a baseplate; it hangs suspended in the center of the case, isolated from external trauma.
Design & Craftsmanship
Cable Suspension System:
This is the watch’s signature innovation. A system of miniature braided steel cables, threaded through pulleys and anchored by tensioners, holds the movement in place. This acts like a suspension bridge, absorbing shocks and vibrations before they can damage the gears. The visual effect of the cables crossing the dial is nothing short of spectacular.
Carbon TPT Armor:
The complex tonneau case is machined from Carbon TPT (Thin Ply Technology). Hundreds of layers of carbon fiber are stacked and fused to create a material that is virtually indestructible yet incredibly light. The unique damascene pattern ensures that no two cases look exactly alike.
The Flying Tourbillon:
Despite the rugged construction, the heart of the watch is a piece of high horology. A manual-winding tourbillon rotates at 6 o’clock, providing precision timekeeping. Seeing this delicate mechanism protected by such a heavy-duty industrial structure creates a powerful contrast.
